Text Box: I would like to commend the staff at Oak Grove School for their hard work with their students. I also want to thank our parents and students for their hard work and support of their school. The recently released State Report Card shows how well you can do when parents, teachers, and students work together for the good of the school.
Thank you for allowing me to serve as your school board member. It is my pleasure to serve the 4th district.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. I wish your family the best and hope this holiday season finds your family in good health.

From the Desk of   Mr. Bryson

Text Box: We recently received our school’s report card information and test results for the 2005-2006 school term. The school met AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) in all areas. The following charts provide the most essential information from the report.
Grades K-8: Non Academic Indicators

Our promotion and attendance rate improved in 2006 and we are currently above the state goal in both areas.
Student Academic Achievement

Our students improved their academic achievement grades in reading/language and social studies and maintained grades in math and science. The 2006 academic grades for the school were at or above the state in all areas.
TVAAS (Value Added)
Elementary: Grades K-8 Growth Standard

The Value Added scores for the school show gains in all areas. The largest gains were in the area of math and social studies.
We are very proud of the hard work of the students and the staff members in achieving these scores. The School Improvement Plan Evaluation has also been received. The Oak Grove SIP was approved by the state and received high scores on the relevance of its content.
